Timberwolves acquire West

The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded guard Ramon Sessions to the Cleveland Cavaliers for guard Delonte West.

Also in the deal, the Cavaliers sent guard Sebastian Telfair to Minnesota for center Ryan Hollins and a second round pick.

The Cavaliers had enough of West’s off-the-court problems and are happy to dump that on another team.

The Timberwolves had better be careful putting West alongside Michael Beasley, also acquired via trade.

Telfair isn’t exactly the best locker room guy, either, and he has failed to live up to the hype since jumping straight from high school to the NBA.
