Beasley finished with weed

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Michael Beasley was a big fan of weed but says those days are behind him.

General manager David Kahn said that Beasley is just a young, immature kid who liked marijuana.

He said he doesn’t think he will smoke in the future and that he is ready to put his basketball career above everything else.

Beasley is likely to need a big support system around him in Minnesota to be successful, and it’s doubtful it will be as good as the one he had in Miami.

The one bit of good news is that Miami and Minnesota are completely different cities, so the crazy nightlife shouldn’t be a distraction up north.
